Reach For Tomorrow Program Begins Days are long and challenges come fast. Running an obstacle course, taking the helm of a Coast Guard cutter, or flying a light plane. Living with a military academy cadet or university student who comes from a similar background. If you want to know what your future can be, then Reach For Tomorrow (RFT) is the summer program for you. Reach For Tomorrow, Inc. was established in 1993 to show incoming high school freshmen the benefits of a higher education. RFT wants 8th graders who attend classes regularly and who have the potential to make better grades. By sending you to U.S. service academies or other institutions of higher learning for a week during the summer, you get to experience a number of possible careers in the U.S. military, the federal government, science and engineering professions, and corporate America. If selected, RFT will transport, feed, and house you at practically no cost to you or your parents. To be considered, you must: • Complete 25 hours of
community service. Your teacher or school counselor can guide you in finding an
organization to work with. WHO TO CONTACT
